Extended
Ranges
“Extended ranges” are now activated with the controls
Black, Gamma and White
Black RGB Range from -100% to +100%
Black MASTER Range from -100% to +100%
Gamma RGB Range 60% of Master Range
Gamma MASTER Range from 0 to 2.5
White RGB Range from 0% to 200%
White MASTER Range from 0% to 1000%
Attention!
In “extended range” mode, unity results in a different grading comparable to
“normal ranges”;
White changes to 500% of the standard value
and
Gamma changes from 1 to 1.25.
Changing from “normal range” to “extended range”, and in the other way round,
requires a re-adjustment of Black (lift) , Gamma and White (gain).
